dynamic legends -- Larry Levan, David Mancuso, Ron Hardy, Frankie Knuckles, and
countless others -- used underground clubs and their music to spread a message….
It was the message of House Music!

Music that compelled young fans - Madonna, Calvin Klein, Andy Warhol, Keith
Haring, Grace Jones among them - to bear witness to a phenomenon touching lives
across the globe.

Since then, House evolved to spurn many sub-genres and along the way created stars
that followed those legends and achieved great success -- from Louie Vega and his
band Elements of Life playing at the Superbowl to Tiesto playing at the Olympics
Sadly though, the more common narrative is that of the struggling-but-dedicated artists
and their enthusiastic fans.

Propelled by his own passion for the music, DJ jojoflores, - voted “Best International DJ” four years running by New York Cityʼs Undaground Archives and founder of Gotsoul Records - became a globetrotting crusader, championing the music he loves.
Eventually, a group conscientious DJʼs and fellow house music devotees began the
build of Under One House.

They were fueled by a singular mission:
